RealView CommandScope
Residential Pre-Plan Personal Information Privacy Policy

Information Collection and Use

Registration and Pre-Plan
In order to use this web site, you must first complete the registration form and choose a username and password. During registration you are required to supply contact information (such as name, address, email address and phone numbers). You can optionally provide additional information such as home descriptions and occupant information. RealView and your fire department use this information to contact you about the services on this site as well as helping to serve and protect you in the event of an emergency event at your location.

You have the option to provide structure and occupant information (such as ages, descriptions, etc.) to us; we encourage you to submit as much detail as possible so your fire department can better protect your home and family.

Your contact information may be used to communicate directly with you via email, telephone or standard postal services for reminders and system notifications.

After you have registered, you will provide answers to several fire pre-plan questions. These responses will be stored by RealView with your registration information. The questions themselves are created by your fire department and each department/town may have different questions.

RealView is the sole owner of the information collected on the CommandScope Residential Pre-Plan site. Your fire department and its surrounding fire departments will have access to this information for emergency purposes only.

Uses of Information
The registration and fire pre-plan information you provide on this site is used solely for emergency protection purposes. When you submit your information to the site, it is first reviewed by a clerk at your fire department for accuracy and completeness. If edits are necessary, the clerk will notify you via email. If the clerk approves your submission, you information will be automatically published to other computers within the fire department, potentially including mobile units located in fire engines and command vehicles. In the event of a fire or other emergency, the emergency personnel responding to your location may query the system to view your information in order to learn about the environment they are heading in to.

In the event of large-scale events, surrounding fire departments may be called in to assist your town’s department. During these events, your department may share your pre-plan information with these other departments.

Communications from the CommandScope Site
Information Update Reminders
It is highly recommended that you keep your fire pre-plan and registration information current. At anytime after registration, you may visit this site and modify your information. As a helpful service to you, the system will periodically notify you via email (or other means) with reminders to review and/or update your pre-plan information.

Service-Related Announcements
We will send you strictly service-related announcements on rare occasions when it is necessary to do so. For instance, if our service is temporarily suspended for maintenance or upgrades, we might send you an email.

Customer Service
Based upon the personally identifiable information you provide to us we will send you a welcoming email to verify your username and password. We will also communicate with you in response to your inquiries, to provide the servers you request, and to manage your account.

Profile/Registration Information
We store information that we collect in databases and log files. We do not share your information and profile with third parties beyond the fire departments and emergency entities in your township.
